I CURRICULUM
Bachelor of Arts (honours) y PhD en Historia (Universidad de New South Wales, Australia) Visiting Research Student (Universidad de Oxford y Universidad de Saint Andrews, Reino Unido). Miembro asociado del Centro de Estudios Medievales (Universidad de Sydney, Australia) e investigador ad tempus del Instituto de Metodología e Historia de la Ciencia Jurídica (Universidad Complutense de Madrid, España). Profesor universitario de historia medieval.
II OBJETIVOS
Durante los siglos medievales, confluyen en Inglaterra una gran cantidad de personajes de singular importancia para el transcurso de la historia humana. Novelas como las de Ken Follet, películas como El León en Invierno, Becket, Robin Hood y Corazón Valiente, y la literatura artúrica nos han acercado de alguna forma a la Inglaterra medieval en décadas recientes. Con un enfoque más histórico y con el apoyo de material audiovisual y textos de la época, el curso pretende repasar la fascinante vida y significativa obra de los personajes más famosos de esta época.
